I'm afraid that with V is for Voltage coming out, I have not been Blogging anything. Check for a look at what I've been working on.

Rockin and rollin. Today we had a 6.8 earthquake in the Pacific Northwest. We felt it strongly.

Lots of blogging today...

This is the big reveal on my web site name.....
V is for Voltage is the name,
and I got the URL! Woo Hoo!

That is TOTALLY easy to remember. Now I am ready for some word of mouth marketing...
My dear friend, Bill Badsey, the world champion powerboat racer, inventor, and head of Badsey Industrial Group, passed away on President's day. Very very sad. He was one of the most interesting people I have ever met....

Wow! The website progress is going very well. Everyone that I approached for interviews has agreed. Woo Hoo! All the top names baby. 8^) Gotta love that. I'm not going to say who they are until we get a little closer to publication. Major names though.

I also got my ACE domain name. I couldn't believe that it wasn't taken. Totally easy to remember. I am not going to post the name until I show up in the directory WHOIS. My original choice was PEV Planet. This was not an ideal choice, as PEV is kind of an insider term and not widely recognized. The new phrase is 100% instant recognition, even among small children. Very marketable.

The word is that the first of my new CNC machined scooter wheels are showing up tomorrow. This means that the last little issue with the scooter is going to be resolved and it will be at 100% operational ability. This means that the official range and ride testing can begin once that wheel is installed. I talked to my other test rider, and I think we are going to start doing some testing later in the week on the Hot Scoot. We'll probably start with the offroad testing first, as I want to wait until the next scooter arrives before we do the road testing.

Scooterboy made the cover of badsey electric scooters. More reality converted to Kenland. Cool.

Scroll down the page and look for me on my custom black scooter.

Also check out the Hot Scoot page for another shot of my scooter with Whatcom Falls Park in the background.

Well, I decided to create a scooter web site today. The details are still hush hush, but so far, manufacturer response has been very good. The site would be a technical, as well as lifestyle oriented e-zine on the subject of PEVs or Personal Electric Vehicles. I will have interviews, features, news, classifieds, and so forth. Planned release date is the end of the month. Stay tuned!

This is the coolest trance DJ on the planet. His website at has many of his impeccable DJ sets available as live audio streams on demand! How cool is that? His FTP site at has the sets available as complete 70-130MB mp3 files. You can download all of his stuff from the FTP site for free, including cover art and set lists. He has at least 8 sets online now. Each set fills one CD.

I can't get enough of this stuff. I love all of his sets. This is what I am usually listening to when I am riding my electric scooter or my motorcycle around. This is what is most likely loaded on my watch mp3 player at any given moment.

Some of my favorite sets include "Light Rusher", "Pitch Controller", and "Independence Day".

DJ Lithium (Kel) is up in Vancouver, B.C., so maybe I'll actually meet him one of these days and buy him a beer or something.

I ran into Kathy Bates the other day at the downtown Bellingham Rite Aid. She was apparently practicing for an upcoming role. She was very convincing, and had I not recognised her, I'd have thought that she was a crazy homeless person.
Here is a nice shot I took recently:

This is the Whatcom County Courthouse as seen on one of my late night scooter rides.
